MUSICA
In Cremona a lot of young people listen to various kind of music. According to the type of
music they like young people follow different ways of dressing and have different behaviour and habits.
So we can say there are different categories. Some of them listen to punk-rock music, others listen to hip-hop,
or dance, techno, Italian music and so on. Unfortunately we also judge each others too much and therefore there
are a lot of quarrels. But this is normal, young people usually have different points of view!!!
Here is a short list of the main preferences of Cremona's youth: the most followed ones are surely techno
and punk-rock-hip-hop; they are completely different kinds of music, the first is the symbol of virtual
and computer sounds and the second symbolizes the neverending sound of guitars and drums.
Other kinds of music are however attended even if just by a minority of youth, that have no possibility
to express their emotions.
Thanks to many factors, such as radio station prefered by young people of Cremona (Discoradio 107.25 -
www.discoradio.it), dance and techno music and similar kinds of
music are the first choice among young people. Many discotheques in the area represent this trend:
the most famous disco is Dylan (Coccaglio - Bs - www.ritmodromo.com)
where you can dance and listen to trance-progressive and hardcore music. Another famous disco is: Evolution Planet
(Busseto - Pr - www.evolutionplanet.com) offering hardcore-new
style, techno-trance and dance music. Number One (Cortefranca - Bs -
www.numberone.com), is one of the most famous discotheque in Europe,
the temple of hardcore-new style, trance, progressive and dance music.
In Codogno (Lo), you can find a little discotheque, called Sonic, a new destination for young people who
like hardcore-new style, trance, progressive and dance music.
All these discotheques are out of the district of Cremona, years ago we had a glorious techno-hardcore
temple, the legendary Kiss in a litlle village near Cremona, Ostiano, but it has been closed.
For dance-house you can find two discotheques near Cremona: Nuvolari, on the way to Crema, and
Open Space (www.openspaceclub.com) at the other side of the city on
the way to Mantova. In the city (near the ring road) there is Centrale del Latte (Milk Station
www.centraledellatte.it) a new pub where house and dance music are played,
often offering live concerts with new young bands and also the famous ones.
We can't forget the immense Studio Zeta (Caravaggio - Bg), the biggest discotheque in Lombardia,
famous for hit parade of the most danced techno-dance songs.
There is another important place for live music, the Fillmore (Cortemaggiore - Pc - www.fillmore.it)
where you can listen to revival and rock singers and groups.
Who loves underground music can visit the centre Dordoni (Mantova street)!
At last we suggest the Necente, a nice disco-pub in Cimitero street, for all who are interested in different kinds
of live music.
